In this day and age, technology plays such a large part in our everyday lives. So why not incorporate it into your special day! The App Store has over 100 different apps that help you achieve your dream wedding. Below are some of my favorites to use in preparation:
1. Wedding Planner by The Knot/Wedding Planner by WeddingWire
The Knot and WeddingWire are some of my favorite ways to find different vendors! I typically describe them as “The Yelp” for planning weddings. You can find certain vendors in a specified area and easily contact them. You also have a chance to see some of their work and ratings from past couples. One of my favorite things about Wedding Planner by The Knot is that you are able to mark off whatever vendors you have booked. As a wedding planner, it is nice to see a preview of everyone that we will be working with!
2. Zola
Zola is great for many reasons, but mainly, who doesn’t love having everything all in one place! With Zola, you are able to create your wedding website (which I highly recommend) and automatically link it to your registry. The cool thing about your Zola registry is that you have one major database that links all the stores you are requesting gifts from. Also, you can request funds towards larger expenses, such as your honeymoon or purchasing a home.
3. The Guest – Photo Sharing
The Guest is more vital after your wedding, but I highly recommend looking into it! Do not get me wrong, there is nothing like your professional pictures, but it is nice to see all the photos your guests take throughout the event! The Guest – Photo Sharing will allow your guests to upload pictures they took from your big day to a specific album. You are able to pick and choose which photos you would like to keep right from there, which adds even more to your wedding album.
4. The BACH
After the wedding itself, your bachelorette/bachelor party is the next best thing. With The BACH you are able to take everything you are planning for that special event and put it into one. You are able to have a group chat, an hourly iterniery of the day, request money from your girls, and so much more right from one location! I love that you are able to track the expenses of the weekend so all the girls can see an itemized list of everything they will have to pay for.
